  39. 39 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Authorizing the Director of Capital Projects to apply to the District One Public Works Integrating Committee for state funding to resurface State Road from Burger Avenue to Hillcrest Avenue and authorizing the Director of Finance, or appropriate director, to accept the funding from the Ohio Public Works Commission; giving consent of the City of Cleveland to the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio to construct the improvement; authorizing agreements; and causing payment to the State for the City’s share of the improvement. 1241-2026
  40. 40 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Authorizing the Director of Public Safety to enter into an agreement with the Cleveland Municipal School district also known as Cleveland Metropolitan School District relating to the purchase, lease and redevelopment of Miles School located at 11918 Miles Avenue to facilitate a new administration building for Fire and EMS and to include offices for Public Safety Administration; authorizing the Mayor and the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies to purchase the building and property; authorizing the leaseback of a portion of the building and property to the school district for a term of thirty years; determining the method of making the public improvement of renovating the building and property; authorizing contracts, accepting grants and gifts, and authorizing the direct employment of the necessary labor to implement, for the Department of Public Safety and/or Office of Capital Projects. 1242-2026
