Resolution No. 16-003 Declaring an Emergency for Damages Due to Storm Events from December 1, 2015, Through December 14, 2015 Details: Adoption of this resolution is a declaration of disaster based on uncommon storm events of rains and winds in December 2015. This declaration allows for abbreviated procedures for acquisition of consultant and contractor services as provided in the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 36.40.180 and RCW 38.52.070(2). This emergency declaration is the first step in seeking federal financial assistance for related engineering, repairs and maintenance response expenses.
