The Camas Public Library - Remain Independent or Annex into Fort Vancouver Regional Library Details: David Zavortink, the former Library Director, retired last year after over twenty years of service. Camas is the only city in Clark County that is not part of Fort Vancouver Regional Library (FVRL). With an upcoming change in leadership, staff believed it was appropriate to explore the City's options, including possibly annexing into FVRL. The presentation provided an overview of the administrative process, financial implications, advantages and disadvantages. Staff explored this at a cursory level with the intent that more detailed analysis would be performed if the Library Board of Trustees and City Council expressed interest in possible annexation.
