Draft Railroad Crude Oil Tank Cars Letter to the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council Details: Last year the City sent a letter to State and Federal elected officials expressing concerns about the railroad crude oil tank cars explosions and the risk to the City of Camas if there was a derailment within the City. This draft letter was in response to the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Tesoro Savage Vancouver Energy Distribution Terminal. The completion of the terminal would increase the volume of crude oil tank cars traveling through the City. Comments are due by January 22, 2016. Presenter: Pete Capell, City Administrator
