Public Works Reorganization (11:00 a.m.) Details: Staff provided a brief presentation to review the opportunities and demands on both the Community Development and Public Works Departments, and to begin a conversation regarding the potential benefits of a possible transition of the Engineering Division to Public Works. Additionally, with the promotion of the Utilities Manager to Public Works Director, staff reviewed the importance of the Utilities Manager position and the need to fill the position as soon as possible.
