Public hearing and discussion of an ordinance concerning a voluntary annexation request by Radcliff Killam II, on behalf of Killam Development, Ltd., altering and extending the boundary limits of the City of Laredo to annex approximately 14.09-acres, more or less, tract of land located east of FM 1472 and Muller Memorial Boulevard; providing for the effective date of the ordinance; authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract adopting a service plan for the annexed territory; and establishing the initial zoning of M-1 (Light Manufacturing District) for the subject tract, as described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit A. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the proposed annexation and the initial zoning of M-1 (Light Manufacturing District).
