(1) A 166 sq ft total sign variance to permit 429 sq ft of signage where 263 sq ft is the maximum allowed, which does not comply with GCO, Chapter 157, Planning & Development Code, specifically 157.135(8)(A)(1), Signs Permitted in Nonresidential Zoning Districts. (2) Variances to permit directional signs that are 36 sq ft, 7 sq ft, 7 sq ft, and 10 sq ft where the maximum size is 4 sq ft, which is not compliant with GCO Chapter 157, Planning and Development Code, specifically 157.135(8)(C)(3), Directional Signage. (3) Variances to permit four (4) directional signs to be 4’ in height where 3’ is the maximum height allowed, which is not compliant with GCO Chapter 157, Planning and Development Code, specifically 157.135(8)(C)(1), Directional Signage. 9. 8 BZA2024-0025 Michael & Lillian Kowalski 1250 Selena Grv., Green, OH 44685 The Appellants, Michael & Lillian Kowalski, 1250 Selena Grv., are requesting a 2’ fence height variance to allow 4’ fencing along the second frontage of their property, Ponderosa Trl, less than 20’ from the property line, which does not comply with GCO, Chapter 157, Planning & Development Code, specifically, 157.087(5)(C) Use specific standards; Fences. 10. 9 BZA2024-0026 Fast Signs Akron, 1790 Graybill Rd., Green, OH 44685 The Appellant, Fast Signs Akron, 1783 Brittain Rd. in Akron, is requesting the following variances for 1790 Graybill Rd., on behalf of Summa Health System for a directional sign; (1) a 1’8” height variance to permit a 4’8” in height directional sign where 3’ is the maximum height allowed; and (2) an 8.3 sq ft total size variance to permit a 12.3 sq ft directional sign where 4 sq ft is the maximum size allowed. This is not compliant with GCO Part Twelve, Planning and Zoning Code, specifically 157.135(8)(C), Directional signage. TMP-4712 approve as amended Pass
