- 1 The following represents, in general, the chronological order of proceedings at the City Council/Committee Meetings: Call to Order, Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, Public Speaking and City Council/Committee Agendas. - 1. Committee recommends sustaining the Traffic Commission’s approval to repeal the “Handicapped Parking” restriction on the north side of Elm Street from 238 feet west of Church Street to 116 feet west of Church Street.
- 2. Committee recommends sustaining the Traffic Commission’s approval for establishing a “25 MPH Park Zone Speed Limit” restriction on Adams Street from Rural Street to Greenwood Avenue.
- 3. Committee recommends sustaining the Traffic Commission’s approval to repeal the “Residential Parking Permits Zone” on 23rd Street from 9th Avenue to 10th Avenue.
- 4. Committee recommends sustaining the Traffic Commission recommends that “No Action” be taken on the following items: Request to establish an all-way stop at the intersection of Reed Avenue and Cannon Street, thus repealing the existing traffic control of Cannon Street stopping for Reed Avenue; and Request to establish a two-way stop at the intersection of Sawyer Road and 16th Street.
- 5. Committee recommends sustaining the Zoning Board of Appeals’ approval for a Variation to increase the maximum allowed Maximum Impervious Surface Ratio from 50% to 64% to allow an addition to the house in an R-2, Two-Family Residential Zoning District at 910 20th Avenue (Jeffrey P. McBride/Applicant). Subject to conditions.
- 6. Committee recommends sustaining the Zoning Board of Appeals’ approval for a: a. Zoning Map Amendment from R-1, Single-Family Residential Zoning District to I-1, Light Industrial Zoning District; and b. Special Use Permit for a trucking company with outdoor storage for ten (10) semi-trucks and trailers in an I-1, Light Industrial Zoning District at 1810 and 1818 Morgan Street (Torry Williams/Applicant). Subject to conditions.
- 7. Committee recommends sustaining the Zoning Board of Appeals’ approval for a Zoning Map Amendment from I-1, Light Industrial Zoning District to C-3, General Commercial Zoning District at 29xx South Main Street (Attorney Aaron Szeto for Pedro Silva/Applicant). Subject to conditions.
- 8. Committee recommends sustaining the Liquor and Tobacco Advisory Board recommendation of denial for: a. Sale of Package Liquor (Class PKG); and b. Sale of Tobacco Products in conjunction with a convenience store in a C-2, Limited Commercial Zoning District at 310 North Alpine Road (Priyank Patel/PK Mart Inc. dba PK Mart Food and Liquor/Applicant).
- 9. Committee recommends sustaining the Liquor and Tobacco Advisory Board’s approval for the: a. Sale of Liquor by the Drink (Class NG-L); and b. Sale of Packaged Liquor (PKG) in conjunction with a restaurant and an outdoor seating area in a C-3, General Commercial Zoning District at 3870 North Perryville Road (Mauricio Gonzalez Chavez/Los Cabos Mexican Grill and Bar, LLC dba Los Cabos Mexican Grill and Bar/Applicant. Subject to conditions.
