Consider recommendations regarding an Agreement with Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. for a one-time Pesticide Disposal Event, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute an Agreement with Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. for the collection, transportation, and disposal of pesticides during a one-time Pesticide Disposal Event, coordinated by the Agricultural Commissioner’s Office, in a Not-to-Exceed amount of $200,000.00; b) Approve the acceptance of up to $200,000.00 from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation for funding for the Pesticide Disposal Event; and c) Determine that the above-recommended actions are not a project that is subject to environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(4) and (5), finding that the actions consist of governmental funding mechanisms and administrative activities of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
