Consider recommendations regarding the Professional Engineering Service Agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. (Stantec) for Isla Vista Stairway Repairs, Second District, as follows: a) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute the professional service agreement with Stantec for Isla Vista stairway repairs; and b) Determine that the Project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15302 of the State Guidelines for the Implementation of CEQA which consists of the replacement or reconstruction of existing structures or facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced, and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced, and direct staff to file a Notice of Exemption.
