Consider recommendations regarding the approval of a Contract with Santa Maria Fairpark for the 2024 Veterans Stand Down, as follows: a) Approve for signature by the Chair, a contract between the County of Santa Barbara and the Santa Maria Fairpark for the Santa Barbara County Veterans Stand Down on October 26, 2024; and b) Find that the proposed action consists of the normal operation of existing facilities for public gatherings for the purpose for which the facilities were designed, and is therefore exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to 14 CCR 15322.
