Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) recommending the Board: 1) Accept the Child Passenger Safety Program grant funding in the total amount of $97,000, for the term effective upon final execution covering the period of October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027; and 2) Delegate authority to the HHSA Director, Public Health Program Manager (as the named Grant Director), and Assistant Director of Administration/Finance or Agency Chief Financial Officer to execute Funding In Agreement 10528 and future amendments that do not increase Net County Cost, contingent upon County Counsel and Risk Management approval as applicable, and subsequent administrative documents or required fiscal or programmatic reports. FUNDING: 100% California Office of Traffic Safety pass-through funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
