District Attorney's Office recommending the Board: 1) Make findings that it is appropriate to engage an independent contractor to provide as-needed in-person or virtual science-based interviewing and interrogation technique training services, as Agreement 7930 requires specialty skills and qualifications not expressly identified in County classifications in accordance with County ordinance code 3.13.030(B); and 2) Approve and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment III to Agreement 7930 with Tailored Training Programs, LLC to extend the term by two additional years, through September 18, 2028, increase the amount by $125,000, resulting in the updated amount of $520,000, and amend the fee schedule included in Amended Exhibit A.
