District Attorney’s Office recommending the Board consider the following: 1) Make findings in accordance with County Ordinance with El Dorado County Ordinance Code, Chapter 3.13.030 (B) that specialty skills and qualifications not expressly identified in County classifications are involved in the performance of the work; 2) Make findings in accordance with Procurement Policy C-17, Section 3.5, exempting competitive bidding for Agreement 7930 with Tailored Training Programs, LLC as training seminars/classes are exempt from the competitive bidding process, as competitive processes for such purchases do not produce an economic benefit to the County; 3) Approve and authorize the Board Chair to execute Amendment I to Agreement 7930 with Tailored Training Programs, LLC to increase the not-to-exceed amount by $190,400, making the new not-to-exceed $275,000; and 4) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute any necessary Amendments relating to Agreement 7930, excluding term extensions or increases to the not-to-exceed amount, contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management. FUNDING: Equitable Sharing Funds.
