- The State's Demographic Services Center released the preliminary estimate of the January 1, 2024 population for the City of Reedsburg: 10,516. This represents a change of 461 persons (4.58%) since the 2020 Census. Wisconsin’s total population is estimated at 5,989,250, which is a change of 95,532 persons and 1.62%.
- City-wide revaluation: Given the increase in new construction, we plan to have 2 open books. First on Monday, September 23, 2024 - in person at City Hall - and the second on September 25, 2024, by phone. We estimate each will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These hours may change as we get closer and can get an idea of how many property owners want to discuss their new assessment. The Board of Review will be the week of Oct. 28. These dates are not fully set as there is a lot of work to be done given the amount of new construction in the City, and the assessor still needs to visit these properties to ensure they are assessed properly.
- Approve/Deny: Amendment No. 1 to the Memorandum of Understanding Between KMD Development, LLC and the City of Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Re: Eight (8) rowhouse units on parcel 276-1313-20000 and a duplex residential building on parcel 276-1313-30000 as illustrated in Exhibit A.
