Recommendation of the Executive Committee on 9/2/25: That this ordinance be amended by deleting "When a group of people representing one viewpoint wishes to address the council, one person should be appointed the designated speaker for the group". Also that the language "We encourage you to submit any detailed concerns in writing to the city clerk's office, or your aldermen, where they can be properly documented and directed for response" be inserted into the public comment verbiage.
