Report of Special Events Committee recommending approval of the following events subject to Council Action: Fourth on the Shore on 7/4/2026 (Approval of road closure on 7/4/26: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - N 6th Street from York Street to Maritime Drive, parade lineup area - 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. - S 8th Street from Madison Street to Washington, Parade route - 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - S 8th Street and Washington to Maritime Drive, Maritime Drive to Huron Street Immediately following parade - Maritime Drive from N 7th Street to the driveway of the Inn on Maritime Bay to be closed until 5:00 p.m. Starting cleanup at 4:00 p.m. so it might reopen earlier. Lane of each side of Maritime Drive closed from 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. for parking); Zoo Snooze on 8/8/2026-8/9/2026 (Waiver of park hours for Lincoln Park Zoo for 8/8/2026-8/9/2026); Sputnikfest on 9/12/2026 (Road closure of Park Street from N 7th Street through St Clair Street from 6:00 a.m. on 9/11/2026 to 9/13/2026 until 7:00 p.m., and on N 8th Street from State Street through St Clair Street for the same time period)
