3. 3 The Wednesday May 6, 2026 AAA Nutrition/Wellness Committee meeting will be a Hybrid meeting. The public can attend in person at the ADRC building, 2865 N Sherman Ave Room 109, Madison. The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone. 24. 2. Federal Government Cuts to ACL's Falls Prevention Program
25. 25 a. The Trump Administration does not want to use funding from the Prevention and Public Health Fund in the Affordable Care Act, which provides mandatory funding to HHS agencies for prevention programs, but is divvied up by Congress during the annual appropriations process. Again, this ask reflects the President’s last budget and was ignored by Congress in FY 2026.
