- It is anticipated the Common Council will adjourn to closed session pursuant to State Statute 19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the purchase of public property, the investment of public funds, or to conduct other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. Specifically to be discussed is item 13-A-2 and 13-A-3.It is further anticipated the Common Council will remain in closed session pursuant to State Statute 19.85 (1)(g) to confer with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. Specifically to be discussed is item 13-A-4.
