A motion may be considered to authorize the City’s full and final settlement of all claims and appeals that are the subject of claimant’s Worker’s Compensation Claim No. SY72558 filed on or about February 4, 2024, with the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and the survivor benefit’s claims and appeals of the claimant’s spouse filed with the Department on or about July 16, 2025, upon payment by the City in the amount of $500,0000 contingent upon dismissal of the appeals of the denials of the worker’s compensation and survivor’s benefits claims and execution of a settlement agreement in a form approved by the City Attorney.
