A motion may be considered to authorize the City’s full and final settlement of all claims against the City in the matter of TPU Claim W-045-24 filed by Evelyn and Jose Castellar related to damage to their home located at 39th Pl SW in Federal Way, Washington arising from a broken water main occurring September 24, 2024, upon final payment by the Tacoma Department of Public Utilities in the amount of $977,865.51, with a total amount paid of $1,465,689.74, and execution of a release in a form approved by the City Attorney.
