A motion may be considered, pursuant to Section 3.4 of the Tacoma City Charter, to confirm City Manager Hyun Kim’s appointment of Ramiro Chavez as the Environment and Public Works Director for the City of Tacoma, effective at 12:00 a.m., on July 13, 2026, and subject to the terms and conditions of a written offer and acceptance of employment and the applicable provisions of the Tacoma Municipal Code.
