A motion may be considered that the City Council nominate and make an offer of employment to Hyun Kim for the appointive at-will position of Tacoma City Manager, subject to biennial reappointment and conditioned upon successful completion of required pre-employment background checks and mutual agreement by applicant and the City Council upon the terms and conditions of an employment contract prepared by the Human Resources Department and recruiting consultant in coordination with members of the Operational Strategy and Administrative Committee, and approved as to form by the City Attorney.
