ORAL MOTION Vice-Chair Dunn made a motion that Council hereby authorize and approve the expenditure of $2,500,000 to resolve the civil litigation entitled Whybark v. Whalen, et al., United States District Court Cause No. 2:24-cv-00692-RAJ, as negotiated by outside counsel and the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and to authorize the County Executive and the named employees to execute the documents necessary to memorialize the agreement, in consultation with outside counsel and the Prosecuting Attorney. Councilmember Low seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
