Ordinance Imposing 0.1% Criminal Justice Sales Tax and creating a new section 3.xx in the NBMCDescription: In 2025, the State legislature approved HB2015 authorizing qualified cities and counties to impose a 0.1% sales tax for local law enforcement programs. This tax may be approved by Councilmanic action up until June 30, 2028. After July 1, 2028, voter approval is required.
