- A. E-BIKE UPDATE & BOARD RECOMMENDATIONSUMMARY: Staff will present proposed amendments to Title 13 of the Longview Municipal Code for review by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The staff-recommended amendments include prohibiting the use of all electric bicycles within City parks. The complete proposed code amendments are included in the supporting documents. The Board is being asked to review the proposed changes and either recommend support of the staff proposal or suggest an alternative recommendation. The Board’s recommendation will be presented to the Longview City Council at its July 28, 2026 meeting.RECOMMENDED ACTION: Move to approve the staff-recommended amendments to Title 13 of the Longview Municipal Code, including the prohibition of electric bicycle use in City parks.STAFF CONTACT: Justin Brown, Parks & Recreation Director
