Closed session pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3711.A (.1) and (.8) to discuss potential candidates for City Attorney and to consult with legal counsel employed or retained by the City regarding specific legal matters concerning criminal blight as outlined in §15.2-907 of the Code of Virginia and §24-112 of the Hampton City Code and the City’s Zoning Ordinance which require the provision of legal advice by such counsel.
