- Discuss and consider action on a resolution to approve an interlocal agreement between the City of West Lake Hills and Travis County Water Control and Improvement District 10 (WCID 10).
- Call to Order
- Announcements by Members of the City Council regarding items of community interest, pursuant to Texas Government Code § 551.0415. As authorized by that section, a Council Member may make a report about items of community interest during this meeting without having given prior notice of the subject of the report, provided that noaction is taken and, except as permitted by Section 551.042, no possible action is discussed regarding the information provided in the report. For purposes of this item, "items of community interest" are limited to: (1) expressions of thanks, congratulations, or condolence; (2) information regarding holiday schedules; (3) an honorary or salutary recognition of a public official, public employee, or other citizen, except that a discussion regarding a change in the status of a person's public office or public employment is not an honorary or salutary recognition for purposes of this subdivision; (4) a reminder about an upcoming event organized or sponsored by the City Council; (5) information regarding a social, ceremonial, or community event organized or sponsored by an entity other than the City Council that was attended or is scheduled to be attended by a member of the City Council or an official or employee of the City; and (6) announcements involving an imminent threat to the public health and safety of people in the City that has arisen after the posting of the agenda.
- Discuss and consider action on city use of AI technology.
- All Consent Agenda items listed are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one (1) motion. No separate discussion or action on any of the items is necessary unless requested by a Council Member.<ol style="list-style-type: lower-alpha;"><li>Approval of the July 22, 2026 regular meeting minutes.</li><li>Approval of the August 5, 2026 workshop minutes.</li><li>704 Laurel Valley: Approve a replat for Lot 1R, a replat of 1.212 acres of Block W, Site A of the Stonehedge Estates Subdivision, within the city limits (Section 36.01.004(f) of the West Lake Hills Code).
- In accordance with Texas Government Code, Section 551.001, et seq, the City Council will recess into Executive Session (closed meeting) to discuss the following:a. Section 551.072 - Discuss real estate RFP for 911 Westlake Ground Lease RFP response. b. Section 551.074 - Discuss and consider action on the City Administrator hiring process.
