1. 1 To protect the health of the public and limit the potential spread of COVID-19, the Arts Funding Committee will hold this meeting via WebEx. These meeting standards are based upon the various suspended provisions of the Open Meetings Act issued by the Texas Governor in response to the COVID-19 crisis. These modified standards shall remain in place until further notice or until the state disaster declaration expires or is otherwise terminated by the Texas Governor. 14. 14 NOTICE: Citizens who wish to speak before the Arts Funding Committee must email their name, phone number, and the agenda item they would like to speak on to artsfunding@sanantonio.gov by noon, Thursday, September 2, 2021. Each individual/organization will have a maximum of three (3) minutes to speak. Those who do not specify an agenda item, will be heard during the Public Comments section. Speakers are provided the option to be seen and heard over video capabilities; in order to do so, it is recommended to download the WebEx Meetings application prior to the meeting. Those not registered to speak will be given the opportunity to address the Committee at the next regularly-scheduled meeting. At any time during the meeting the Committee may recess into an executive session to discuss legal issues pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071.
