- Consider and act on Resolution No. 2026-306 authorizing the use of EDC funds for a real property purchase; finding such purchase meets the definition of a "project" to promote new or expanded business development; directing the town secretary to publish notice of the proposed project and a public hearing concerning the proposed project in the official newspaper.
- Conduct public hearing on the Providence Village Economic Development Corporation, a Type B economic development corporation, hereby gives notice pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code, Section 505.159 and 505.160, that the Corporation proposes to declare the following a “project” and use sales tax proceeds to approve funding for Project “The Looking Glass “and “Wild Ride”, concerning the purchase of real property to promote new and expanded business development in the Town of Providence Village.
- Consider and act upon an Order canceling the May 2, 2026 election for Mayor, Council Place 1, and Council Place 6 due to unopposed candidates and declaring each unopposed candidate elected to office; this action does not cancel the May 2, 2026 Charter Amendment Election, which will remain on the ballot.
