Discuss and act on an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Pilot Point, Texas, amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pilot Point, Texas, Chapter 3, "Building Regulations", Article 3.02, "Technical and Construction Codes and Standards", Division 3, "Electrical Code", by adopting the 2026 Edition of NFPA 70, National Electrical Code, including local amendments; providing for administration, enforcement, and permit requirements; providing a penalty for violation in an amount of not less than $100.00 nor more than $2,000.00 for each offense, with each day a violation continues constituting a separate offense; providing a repeater clause; providing a severability clause; providing a savings clause; providing for publication; and providing an effective date.ORDINANCE 653-17-2026
