  4. Convene into a Public Hearing on the Proposed 2026 Tax Rate of $0.4000 per $100<span style="background-color: rgb(251, 160, 38);"></span> of assessed valuation.
  5. Convene into a Public Hearing on the Proposed FY2027 City of Montgomery Annual Budget.
  6. Consideration and possible action regarding adoption, by a record vote, of an Ordinance of the City of Montgomery, Texas adopting an operating budget for the fiscal year 2026-2027.<br><br><strong>THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR'S BUDGET BY AN AMOUNT OF $140,360, WHICH IS A 5.59 PERCENT</strong><strong> INCREASE FROM LAST YEAR’S BUDGET.
