1. Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with the Mineral Wells Independent School District (“MWISD”) to provide technology services for an initial term of three (3) years at no cost to the City.
2. Consider and take appropriate action to authorize the Mayor to execute a Second Amendment to an Interlocal Agreement with Palo Pinto County Emergency Service District #1 to convey a tender/tanker apparatus.
3. §551.071(2) Consultation with Attorney on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the Open Meetings Act, regarding (i) City Manager Employment Agreement and (ii) Landowner petition for ETJ release.
4. Consider and take appropriate action on a resolution to deny the rate increase as proposed by Texas Gas Service Company in its statement of intent to change rates filed on about June 30, 2025; directing Texas Gas Service to reimburse the City of Mineral Wells for its reasonable rate case expenses; making other findings and provisions related to the subject; and determining that this Resolution was passed in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Open Meetings Act.
5. Mayor to present an award to Rose Jordan, Director of Tourism & Marketing
