Public hearing to receive comments on a request to rezone a recently annexed property to a Planned Development (PD), to be known as “Sonoma Verde North Public Improvement District” with specific development standards and permitted uses. No base zoning district regulations apply to the Planned Development and will be subject to the Sonoma Verde North Development Agreement, as amended and modified herein, in accordance with the City’s Code of Ordinances. The subject property is a 208.787-acre tract situated in the Franklin Bauguss, Abstract No. 7, City of McLendon-Chisholm, Rockwall County, Texas, and is generally located at the north-east corner of Edwards Road and south-east of FM 550( Rockwall Property ID: 10076 and 339457
4. Discuss and consider approval of the First Amendment to the Amended Ambulance Services Contract between the Rockwall County Emergency Services Corporation (ESC) and Medic Rescue, Inc. (Rockwall County EMS).
5. Discuss and consider approval of a request to rezone approximately 208.787 acres of land from Agricultural (AG) to a Planned Development (PD) district for the proposed Sonoma Verde North Public Improvement District. The property is generally located northeast of Edwards Road, southeast of FM 550, and within the recently proposed annexation area known as Sonoma Verde North
6. Discuss and consider a resolution adopting the City of McLendon-Chisholm FY 2026-2027 Strategic Plan

The City Council for the City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas, reserves the right to convene into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed, as authorized by Texas Government Code, Chapter 551,§551.071 - Consultation with attorney, to wit: Discuss the proposed sale of the Sonoma Verde Water Pipes
8. Public hearing to receive comments on a request for a specific use permit (SUP) for a backlit monument sign to be lit 24 hours a day on the subject property, as defined n the City's Code of Ordinances. Subject property is approximately 1.37 acres situated in the King Latham Survey, City of McLendon-Chisholm, and is generally located at 137 S State Highway 205. Rockwall CAD Property ID 11384
9. Discuss and consider the proposed FY 2026/2027 tax rate of $0.121555 per $100 assessed valuation and take a record vote to consider a tax rate to increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll in the previous year and set public hearing dates regarding the proposed tax rate.
10. Discuss and consider a specific use permit (SUP) request for a backlit monument sign to be lit 24 hours a day and an additional building-mounted sign on approximately 1.37 acres situated at 137 S State Highway 205, in the King Latham Survey, City of McLendon-Chisholm, Texas
