  2. Presentation of Meridiana PUD Annual Progress Report.
  3. Acceptance of the meeting minutes to date.
  4. Consideration and possible action to approve Resolution 2026-R-45:<br><span style="margin-left:0in;">A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MANVEL, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE FRIENDS OF NRA STATE FUND GRANT PROGRAM FOR TRAINING AMMUNITION FOR THE MANVEL POLICE DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT AWARD; DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED OFFICIAL AND FINANCIAL OFFICER; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF NECESSARY DOCUMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
  5. 4. Consideration and possible action to approve the second and final reading of Ordinance 2026-O-16;<br>AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE (2007-O-26) OF THE CITY, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND CONSTITUTING APPROXIMATELY 394.232 ACRES FROM OPEN PLANNED USE DEVELOPMENT (O-PUD) DISTRICT TO PLANNED USE DEVELOPMENT (PUD) DISTRICT, SUCH TRACT IMMEDIATELY LOCATED ON THE EAST OF S.H. 288, EXTENDS ACROSS BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES OF S.H. 6, SOUTH OF DEL BELLO LAKES DEVELOPMENT, WEST OF IOWA LANE AND VALENCIA DEVELOPMENT, AND GENERALLY WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF BRAZORIA COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 30; (PD&Z Public Hearing and recommendation on 5/26 , City Council Public Hearing on 6/15, First reading by council 6/15, Recommendation by PD&Z on 9/28).
  6. 6. Discussion/Update on the Status of Strategic Initiatives and Goals Established During the City Council Planning Session.
  7. City Council will convene into Executive Session pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 551.074; “Personnel Matters - to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, and duties of a public officer or employee”.<div style="margin-left: 20px;"><em>Discussion and possible interview of applicants for the appointment of Planning Development and Zoning Commission Board Member.
  8. Acceptance of infrastructure improvements for Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, Storm Water Facilities, and Paving to serve Meridiana Section 28C to begin the two-year maintenance period.
  9. 5. Consideration and possible action on the appointment of a member to the Planning, Development and Zoning Commission, Position No. 1, for an unexpired term ending March 2027.
  10. Consideration and possible action to approve a request for reasonable accommodation under Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. §3604(f)(3)(B)) to waive or modify the Specific Use Permit requirement for a proposed residential group home classified as NAICS 623990 – Other Residential Care Facilities at Lot 18, Block 4 of Newport Lake Estates Section 2, located at 2619 Broad Reach Rd and zoned (SFR) Single Family Residential District.
