- Discuss and consider establishing a “Friends of Lucas Parks” program to support City parks through volunteer maintenance efforts, community involvement, and the development of future funding and partnership opportunities, with an initial focus on the new Lucas/Lavon Parks.
- Discuss the current status of the Lucas Farmers Market and seek input from the Parks and Open Space Board regarding potential alternatives and future market concepts.
- Discuss and consider formally initiating the vision and planning process for Brockdale Park, including the formation of a committee to assist with developing concepts, priorities, and potential amenities for the park. The Parks and Open Space Board/Committee will provide input throughout the process, with the goal of presenting recommendations to the City Council for feedback by mid-2027.
