Discuss, consider and/or take action regarding funding for the 4th of July event held in the City of Slaton, pursuant to Section 74.601 et seq. of the Texas Property Code. The funds, as defined in the Texas Local Government Code Section 381.044, will be used to promote the arts in our community.
