The City of Laredo Mayor and City Council proudly recognize the Webb County Heritage Foundation for its recent honors at the Texas Association of Museums Annual Conference. The Webb County Heritage Foundation received a Gold Award for the “Junior Curator Journal Brochure” and a Bronze Award for “The Year We Shared: 2025 Newsletter” in the Mitchell A. Wilder Publication Design Awards, recognizing excellence in museum communications across Texas. The City of Laredo extends special recognition to Edwardo Garcia, Museums Manager, and Andrea Ordoñez, Director of Operations, for their leadership, dedication, and contributions toward this outstanding achievement. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone for the Foundation and elevates the City of Laredo’s presence on the statewide stage.
