Discussion with possible action regarding the ongoing and recurring water service disruptions, low-water-pressure events, water quality concerns, infrastructure failures, and other deficiencies affecting residents throughout the City of Laredo, including District 6; presentation by City Management and the Utilities Department regarding the causes of recent incidents, the City’s response, preventative measures, infrastructure and operational deficiencies, and plans to improve the reliability of the City’s water system; and discussion of administrative and management accountability, including personnel, organizational, operational, and other corrective actions necessary to address continued failures and restore public confidence in the City’s water utility.
