Consideration to approve a Memorandum of Understanding between Workforce Solutions for South Texas and the City of Laredo Fire Department to establish a cooperative and mutually beneficial partnership for the Externship for Teachers Program. The Fire Department will serve as a worksite for selected teachers participating in the program for two (2) weeks in June. The agreement will remain in effect until January 31, 2027, unless canceled by mutual agreement of either party at any time with 30 days' written notice. There is no financial impact.
