Public Hearing and Introductory Ordinance concerning a voluntary annexation request by Alejandro Ramos, on behalf of North Laredo Industrial Park, Ltd., altering and extending the boundary limits of City of Laredo to annex approximately 275.67 acres of land, more or less, located west of IH-35, north of Beltway Parkway, and south of Reuthinger Parkway; providing for the effective date of the ordinance; authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract adopting a service plan for the annexed territory; and establishing the initial zoning of M-1 (Light Manufacturing District) for approximately 275.67 acres of land, more or less, as described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit “A.” The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the annexation and initial zoning of M-1 (Light Manufacturing District).
