Consideration to approve a Memorandum of Understanding between Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) and the City of Laredo to establish a partnership for reunification during the Washington’s Birthday Celebration Association (WBCA) annual events. TAMIU will serve as a reunification site, through use of its tennis court area in the event of a large-scale incident during festivities. The agreement will remain in effect for five (5) years upon approval and signatures from all parties, unless terminated by mutual agreement from either party at any time with 30 days' written notice. There is no financial impact.
