3. Discussion and possible action to adopt a resolution supporting H.B. No. 2540, introduced by State Representative Richard Raymond, which seeks to provide tuition and fee exemptions for siblings of Veterans who were killed in action, died while in service, or are missing in action, provided the Veteran does not have a spouse or child. The resolution will further authorize the Mayor and City Council to formally convey the City of Laredo’s support to the Texas Legislature, and any other matters incident thereto.
