Consideration to renew supply/service contract FY23-016 for vehicle repair services for small and medium vehicles for the City’s Fleet Department with the following vendors: 1. Toro Auto Sales, Laredo, Texas in an amount up to $100,000.00, (Primary Vendor) and; 2. South Texas Auto Rebuilders, Laredo, Texas in an amount up to $70,000.00 (Secondary Vendor) and; 3. Rotex Truck Center, Laredo, Texas in an amount up to $50,000.00 (Secondary Vendor). This contract provides the Fleet Department with the ability to outsource out and expedite needed services for small and medium vehicle repairs. The city has decided to exercise the renewal option upon mutual agreement of both parties for one additional one-year period. There was no price increase during the last extension period. This is the last extension period for this contract and is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds. All repair services will be secured on an as needed basis. Funding is available in the Fleet Management Fund.
