1. Discussion with possible action on extending formal invitations to the presidential candidates for a tour of Laredo, as a functional model for challenges faced by border communities on the southern border, and any matters related thereto. As the #1 Port of Entry in the United States, Laredo has achieved the status as one of the safest cities in the United States through domestic and bi-national collaboration, and without the need of a border wall.
