Discussion with possible action enhancing and creating practical water mitigation and planning measures to address significant climate and water challenges within our community, while balancing the public’s wishes and concerns, and any matters related thereto. Action and City of Laredo Utilities Department presentation items to include, but not limited to: i. request from utilities department for overview presentation of water conservation plan, including transition, implementation and enforcement ii. request for updates and possible funding sources associated to the City of Laredo’s secondary water source plans iii. update on regional plan for water management proposals to relevant federal and state agencies such as the Texas Water Development Board iv. creation of secondary water source and conservation advisory committee v. prioritization of funding for water conservation and continuation of the City of Laredo’s educational campaigns to keep the public informed
