Consideration to approve a contract with Motorola to implement a backup prime site for the public safety radio system. The backup prime site provides redundancy and resiliency to the radio system, minimizing the potential for extended downtime events on the critical police and fire communications system. The cost to add the backup site is $850,125 under H-GAC RA05-21 pricing. Funds are available in the 2024 Certificate of Obligation Bond.
