Consideration to award RFP FY25-011 a six-year contract to Carbyne Inc., New York, NY in the total amount of $1,777,878.42 to purchase APEX, a Next Generation 9-1-1, Cloud Native Call Handling Solution. This solution will provide voice and data delivery utilizing emerging technology that will allow agencies to minimize response times and maximize efficiency during 9-1-1 calls. The solution includes hardware and software. Features include on-demand device-based location, enhanced device location attributes, live caller video, silent instant messaging, automated abandoned call management, redundant regional failover, two-way native language voice and text translation, advanced analytics, mapping services, and maintenance. Solution will be implemented throughout South Texas Region (Jim Hogg, Starr, Webb, and Zapata Counties) Funding is available in the Regional 9-1-1 Fund.
