Public Hearing and Introductory Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to accept a grant, approve a program, and appropriate funds from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in partnership with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for the FY 2024 Shelter and Services Program - Competitive (SSP-C) and amend the FY 24-25 General Fund Budget by increasing revenues and expenses in the amount of $3,096,483.00. The grant performance period is from October 1, 2023-September 30, 2026; grant funding will be used to provide services to individuals and families released from Department of Homeland Security custody. There is no cost share requirement. Funding will be available in the Special Fire Grants Fund.
