Consideration to renew contract FY22-083 with Holguin Cleaners, Laredo, Texas for providing laundry and dry cleaning services to the Laredo Police Department in the amount not to exceed $100,000.00. There is a proposed price increase of 7% due to higher labor costs during this extension period. This is a laundry and dry cleaning services contract for police uniforms and non-uniforms; in accordance to the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. The term of this contract is for a period of one year subject to future appropriations; contract may be extended for two additional one year periods, upon mutual agreement of the parties. This is the second of three extension periods. Contract will commence on September 2024. Funding is available in the General Fund-Police Department.
